Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 users can now claim to keep up with others as their device has finally received the upgrade to Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat. We’ve received tips for both devices from several carriers, including Rogers, Bell, TELUS and Koodo, but it’s most likely available to all.
The update is just shy of 500MB for Note 2 and 364MB for the GS3. A notification should have arrived on your Note 2 or GS3, but if not hit Settings >> About Phone >> Software update.
Update: 4.4.2 KitKat is also available to upgrade for Bell users of the Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega
Update #2: WIND Mobile has made the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 KitKat 4.4.2 update available to its users. Videotron customers waiting on KitKat for these devices should also be receiving a notification on their device today.
