Uber is doing its best to ensure Toronto is well-fed during NXNE. The cab service has partnered with local late night food staple Poutini’s to provide NXNE attendees with delicious poutine this Friday.
Here’s how it works: poutine will be available from noon on Friday, June 20th, to 3AM Saturday morning. Uber users who pop open the app will see a “POUTINE” icon at the bottom of their screen. After submitting a poutine request, users will receive a call from an Uber rep confirming their order (which come in packages of two, with a maximum order of four packages). First time Uber users can also sign up with the promo code POUTINEPLEASE to get $20 off their first ride.
NXNE is fairly zany on its own, so we expect the demand for poutine to be high. Post a comment and let us know where, and when, you were able to snag your late night poutine with Uber.
