At Google I/O this week, the company announced that it has 190 million monthly active users. While those 190M users are likely excited about the announced native Word, Excel, and PowerPoint editing coming to Drive through Quickoffice, they should also be aware that a new version of the Google Drive app is now available with a long-requested feature.
Google Drive v2.0 adds the ability to share files by link rather than individual invites. Previously, this could only be done via the Google Drive web interface, which was highly annoying for those seeking productivity on-the-go. The update also revises the file details view UI, providing a handy grid of options for starring, moving, downloading, and renaming files, among others.
The Google Drive update is available right now from the Play Store at the source link below.
