A new set of images have surfaced online that show what could be the first of many new Microsoft-Nokia branded Lumia devices. This beauty, which is pegged to be the successor to the Lumia 820, has a similar aluminum frame with a polycarbonate backing and is said to run Windows Phone 8.1. On the face of this unknown Lumia are capacitive hardware buttons and, on the back, a large camera sensor.
Microsoft is rumoured to release a number of new Nokia smartphones this year, such as a flagship with the codename ‘McLaren’ that will be a follow-up to the Lumia 1020. It’s expected to have a Kinect-like 3D Touch feature to perform various actions by hovering your finger over the display. Also expected are the 4.7-inch mid-range “Superman” and low-end “Rock” Windows Phone 8.1 devices.
