Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to launch in 140 countries by the end of October

Samsung has confirmed through its company blog that the Galaxy Note 4 will be available on September 26th in Korea, then pushed to 140 countries by the end of October.

Samsung Canada previously stated “the Samsung GALAXY Note 4 will be available in Canada later this year,” with TELUS, Koodo, Rogers, SaskTel, Bell, WIND Mobile and Videotron committing to launch the 5.7-inch device.

Rogers has already started to take online reservations for the Note 4 and we’re hearing that pre-orders from other carriers will go live later this week.

As a refresher, the Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, a 2.7Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset with an Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 3,220 mAh removable battery, a 16MP camera with OIS and a 3.7MP front-facing camera. In addition, the Note 4 brings a fingerprint scanner, heart rate sensor, UV sensor, and an oxygen saturation monitor. Similar to previous Samsung devices, the Note 4 also sports improved S Pen functionality, Multi Window support, and Ultra Power Saving Mode.
