Apple is rumoured to unveil a new iPad in a few weeks. Previous reports indicated that the Cupertino-based company would come to market with a second-generation iPad Air 2 and a 7.9-inch iPad mini with Retina Display on October 21st.
Backing this up is Bloomberg by stating “people familiar with the plans” say that Apple will indeed launch a new set of iPads next month, specifically expanding past Space Grey and silver to offer a gold version of the 9.7-inch iPad. This trend of introducing new colours follows a similar pattern with how Apple currently sells the iPhone lineup. Unfortunately, Bloomberg didn’t state a firm date or pricing for the new iPads.
Bloomberg also hinted that Apple will go further next year and release an even “larger iPad,” one that will see the screen balloon to 12.9-inches.
