Microsoft is still working on slowly expanding its retail presence with official Microsoft retail stores in malls across North America. Continuing its Canadian expansion, Microsoft this morning announced plans to open up a brand new store in Toronto.
Come late-November, the Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto will be home to Microsoftâs eighth store in Canada. The shop will have a 2,280-quare-foot retail floor and will sell the usual assortment of PCs, tablets, and smartphones, as well as the Xbox One and associated accessories. There will also be an Answer Desk to address customersâ questions about which products are best for them.
The Eaton Centre store will open on November 20, almost two years to the day since Microsoft opened up its first Canadian retail store, also in Toronto. That shop opened for business on November 16th, 2012, at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
