Following up on the statistics for the record breaking iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sales, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook followed up the good fortune by stating its iPad lineup, which is a “simple and magical device,” has reached a milestone with 225 million units sold.
“The technology is jam packed in this incredibly thin and light package,” Cook says. “iPad is everywhere…It’s transforming the way we communicate.” There are currently 675,000 apps for iPad.
