Rogers has just announced via press release that Deepak Khandelwal has been appointed the company’s Chief Customer Officer, effective November 10th. Khandelwal has, until now, served as Google’s VP of Global Customer Experience.
“Deepak brings a unique combination of management consulting and customer operations experience that we need to turn the customer experience around,” said Rogers CEO Guy Laurence. “Improving customer experience is a journey not a destination, but this is a big step in the right direction. Deepak has a proven track record of transforming service operations and he will be a great addition to the team.”
Khandelwal’s primary responsibility will be overhauling Rogers customer experience as part of the company’s multi-year Rogers 3.0 strategy. Khandelwal will report directly to Guy Laurence as part of Rogers’ executive leadership team. Mike Adams, Rogers’ interim Chief Customer Officer, will stay with the company, reporting to Guy Laurence until June, 2015.
