LG G3 owners will be happy to know that the upgrade to Android 5.0 is around the corner. LG has stated that Poland will be the first to receive the update sometime this week, then Lollipop will roll out to more “key markets in the near future.” LG is being vague about its future plans, but hopefully Canada is on that list.
LG was also proud to make early claims to be “the first global smartphone manufacturer to offer the Lollipop upgrade in 2014,” and promised they’ll announce an upgrade schedule for other LG devices at some point in time. Again, no word on which devices LG is planning to upgrade.
“LG is absolutely committed to giving our customers the best mobile experiences available and bringing Android Lollipop to G3 owners as soon as possible is a top priority,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park of LG. “The new features and improvements in Android 5.0 will bring a whole new user experience to the G3 and make it even better than it already is.”
