BlackBerry has announced the addition of Android 5.0 Lollipop support to its BES 12 enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution. The update allows IT admins to manage both Android tablets and smartphones running Lollipop via BES12. IT admins can also securely manage mobile devices across iOS, Windows Phone, BB10 and legacy BBOS with BES12.
In related BES12 news, Samsung recently partnered with BlackBerry to integrate its KNOX security solution into BES12, allowing IT admins to manage Samsung Galaxy devices with KNOX via BES12 to provide the benefits of both platforms (separation of personal and business data, Android-specific security enhancements, etc.).
