Microsoft has officially opened up its Office Preview for Android tablets to more users.
Launched in November, the goal was to obtain feedback for scaling and appropriate use of touch space on Android tablets between 7″ and 10.1″. This week, the company opened up Word, Powerpoint and Excel to all Android users fitting that profile as long as the tablet is running an ARM processor with KitKat or Lollipop.
Word, Powerpoint and Excel on Android tablets resemble their iOS counterparts, with touch-optimized buttons and virtual keyboard-friendly navigation.
