Exactly a month ago, Deezer added a lyrics feature to its Android app. The French streaming music company, which has been available in Canada since 2012, allowed users to tap on the secondary menu to follow along with the song lyrics.
Now, a month later, the company has brought that same feature to iOS. The company claims that there are “millions” of songs with attached lyrics — just look for the microphone icon — and they can be viewed in their entirety or in “sing-along” mode which is more appropriate for karaoke sessions.
Deezer, like Spotify, Rdio and many others, has a free advertising-supported tier, along with a premium tier for $9.99 per month.
