Last April, Bell became the first carrier in Canada to deploy LTE over 700 MHz spectrum. Bell has continued its expansion today, rolling out LTE service in an additional 120 communities across Ontario and Quebec. Bell’s LTE coverage now reaches 86% of the population, with the goal to connect 98% of Canadians by the end of the year.
In addition, Bell has expanded its LTE coverage in Peterborough, Maitland and North Bay in Ontario, and Rigaud, Saint-Alexandre-D’Iberville and Sainte-Julie in Québec. Below is the complete list of new LTE coverage locations:
