With Apple Watch pre-orders set to go live at 3:01am ET / 12:01am PT tomorrow, we’ve learned that the company’s most expensive version, Watch Edition, will only be available for pickup at launch in two Canadian stores: Toronto’s Eaton Centre; and Montreal’s Sainte-Catherine.
With limited quantities, Apple is forcing customers to order the wearable through its online or mobile stores, with in-store pickup on the 24th. As previously reported, customers of the Apple Watch Edition, which starts at $13,000 CAD, will have a premium buying experience, with extra-long try-on sessions and enhanced 24/7 support. Edition buyers will also have an extra year of AppleCare at no charge.
