The Galaxy Note 4 was officially announced last September at IFA and it’s looking like Samsung will continue the tradition of launching its successor during the same time period.
According to a report by Bloomberg, Samsung Pay, the company’s mobile payment solution launched alongside the Galaxy S6, will be delayed by two months, launching instead in September. Canadians will not be included as one of the first countries to deploy the service, but Rhee In Jong, Samsung’s executive vice president, said that “the new service will likely be deployed on its next Galaxy Note device. The key is how fast Samsung will be able to expand the service to lower-end devices.”
IFA 2015 is happening in Berlin from September 4th to September 9th. Samsung is expected to host the second of its two annual Unpacked events during the first week of the conference.
