HTC announced today that it is bringing the newly-announced Desire 626s to Canada this month. Available for an undisclosed price on Wind Mobile, Videotron, Bell and Virgin Mobile, the Desire 626s is the lower-powered variant of the 5-inch Lollipop-powered Desire 626, both of which were announced yesterday at a small event in New York City.
Curiously, the Canadian market is getting the lower-powered Desire 626s versus the regular 626, which has 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, and a 5MP front camera. The regular 626 also supports LTE Carrier Aggregation, which is lacking on the 626s.
Expect the Desire 626s to come in under $200 when it debuts towards the end of the month on Bell, Virgin Mobile, Wind Mobile and Videotron.
