If you’ve been following our coverage of Project Ara’s recent delay, you’ll know that the official launch of the platform had been pushed back due to prototype phones not being able to survive a drop test. Well, it turns out that wasn’t quite true.
The Project Ara team once again took to Twitter to say that it was all a big joke. See below:

Well played, Project Ara team. You certainly had me fooled. Jokes aside, it look likes the team decided to delay the release of their work for good reason; everyone can appreciate better battery life and photos.
