HTC is poised to unveil a new smartphone in the coming months, rumoured to be the HTC One A9, otherwise known as the Hima Aero.
According reputable device leaker Evan Blass, HTC will announce the “intermediate device” in early November. Not quite the luxury smartphone many were expecting, it will have a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 4MP front-facing Ultrapixel camera, a 2150mAh battery, microSD slot, and a rear fingerprint sensor.
While there is no word yet on the what the One A9 will look like, it’s expected to be metal and follow similar design lines to previous One devices. The HTC One A9 will be less than 7 millimetres thick and come in 6 colours, shipping with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Sense 7.
