After a brief a beta period, the Khan Academy Android app is now available to all, not just those who signed up to try out the app through the organization’s Google+ page.
Similar to its iOS counterpart, the Khan Academy Android app grants users access to the website’s full database of educational videos and lessons. Videos are available in a wide variety of languages — more than 65, to be precise — and cover an assortment of topics, including history, art and science. However, if you’re going to Khan Academy, it’s probably for the excellent math tutorials, which are also included in this release.
The most helpful feature included in the app is the ability to allow users to download a lesson or video to their smartphone or tablet, making it easy to access Khan Academy’s wealth of information, even when an Internet connection is hard to find.
Download the app from the Google Play Store.
