The Lumia 550 may have been a footnote in Microsoft’s recent October 6 keynote, but that doesn’t mean the company has completely forgotten about its upcoming entry-level Windows 10 smartphone.
On Friday, Microsoft released a promotional video that showcases some of the 550’s main features, including support for Microsoft’s personal assistant, Cortana. Ostensibly, the hope here is to highlight that the 550 is a fully capable phone, even if it doesn’t more support more high-end features like Continuum.
The Lumia 550 is set to arrive in Canada sometime in December. Although Microsoft has yet to announce carrier partners, we do know the phone will retail for an affordable $139.
