There has been a great deal of anticipation for the Nexus 6P’s arrival in Canada, and carriers are working hard to get customers their reserved devices as quickly as possible. We last reported that pre-order dates had slipped from late October to November 2nd, as Huawei and Google aimed to boost supply before launch to avoid customer disappointment.
Unfortunately, as of late yesterday, both Telus and Rogers are now showing that date has moved once again, to November 4th. It’s not a big difference for most people, but for customers who’ve already been waiting for over a month to get their hands on the Nexus 6P, it’s certainly a disappointment.
It appears these continual shifts in release dates are Canada-wide, so it remains to be seen if Bell will also be affected by this. Hopefully, by this time next week we will all have received our shiny new phones.
