Following the release of a dedicated iOS app, Jiffy on Demand, a made in Toronto service that connects users with trades people, is now available on Android.
The app operates in the same manner as its iOS counterpart. It allows users to search for specific needs — such as painting, carpentry, gardening, plumbing, car detailing, and electrical —and then have a trade expert arrive at their home within a few hours to solve the issue. All professionals listed on Jiffy are reportedly vetted, adopting transparent, fair market prices. Similar to apps like Uber, the transaction is billed directly to the user’s credit card through Jiffy.
Jiffy has also added the option for same-day snow removal starting at $75. This specific service might be useful once the inevitable onslaught of snow drops in the big smoke.
