HTC sees a future that resides in virtual reality. The company announced yesterday that its Vive VR headset will ship to Canada in ‘early April’ for $799 USD. While the Vive is clearly a long term play, HTC is still very much into producing smartphones. The company unveiled three new additions to the Desire lineup, the Desire 530, 630 and 825, and the company’s latest flagship, the One M10, isn’t far behind if newly leaked images are to believed.
The One M10, which could come to market under a different name, has been spotted in white and black in the past, but prior to today we hadn’t seen the back of the phone. Based on the picture seen above, the M10 will move away from the smooth edges found in HTC’s previous flagship and will instead feature a much larger beveled edge.
As previously reported, HTC’s next smartphone will adopt a design similar to the HTC One M9, and will combine features from the recently released One A9.
In addition, the One M10 will reportedly ship with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4G of RAM, a 1440 x 2560 pixel display, USB type-C port, 3,000mAh battery and a rear-facing 12-megapixel camera.
