Telus has once again updated its software update schedule. While many devices were set to get Android Marshmallow in the near future, it now looks like some dates have shifted.
According to its latest version of the chart, Telus plans to update the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note 5 on March 16th, followed by the Moto X Play on March 21st, and the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge on March 30th. The Galaxy S6, on the other hand, is tentatively set to get Marshmallow on April 13th.
There are also a couple new additions to the list. Specifically, the Alcatel Pixi 3 (4-inch) and Alcatel Pixi 3 (4.5-inch), both of which are scheduled to get bug fixes and security improvements on March 22.
Notably missing from the list is the LG G3. This device was initially expected to get updated on March 16, but for some reason has been taken off from the list. In a statement to MobileSyrup, Telus said, “we will be getting the update for the G3, but don’t have a specific date yet. We’ll communicate availability on our website as soon as we receive it.”
