Canadian carrier pricing for the iPhone SE [Update]

Update – March 30: Apple typically opens its stores at 8:00am for a new iPhone launch. However, for the iPhone SE release, Apple has confirmed to MobileSyrup that Apple Stores across Canada will open at the regular scheduled time.


Apple announced the iPhone SE — which stands for Special Edition — will come to Canada later this month. Pre-orders will go live through Apple’s online store effective March 24th, then official availability begins March 31st.

As for pricing, Apple Stores will sell the unlocked 4-inch smartphone for $579 (CAD) for the 16GB version while the 64GB will set you back $709 (CAD). The iPhone SE will be available in Space Grey, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.

As for Canadian carriers, we’ve confirmed that most will offer the newest iPhone, either on pre-order or in-store on March 31st.

Rogers 2-year contract pricing:
– 16GB: $99 on contract
– 64GB: $229 on contract


Telus 2-year contract pricing:
– 16GB: $100 on contract, $590 no-term
– 64GB: $230 on contract, $730 no-term


Fido 2-year contract pricing:
– 16GB: $99 on contract
– 64GB: $229 on contract


Videotron 2-year contract pricing:
– 16GB: $0 on contract
– 64GB: $99 on contract


Virgin Mobile:
– 16GB: $99.99 on contract, $589.99 no-term
– 64GB: $229.99 on contract, $729.99 no-term


Bell:
– 16GB: $99 on contract, $589 no-term
– 64GB: $229 on contract, $729 no-term


Koodo Mobile:
– 16GB: As low as $100 on the Tab
– 64GB: As low as $230 on the Tab


SaskTel:
– 16GB: $78.99 on contract, $579.99 no-term
– 64GB: $208.99 on contract, $709.99 no-term


Eastlink:
– 16GB: $0.00  with easyTab, $579 no-term
– 64GB:$0.00  with easyTab, $709 no-term


MTS:
– 16GB: $99 on contract, $579 no-term
– 64GB: $229 on contract, $729 no-term


Videotron, Rogers, Fido have all gone live with pre-orders and will officially release the iPhone Se on March 31st. All the other carriers, such as Telus, Bell, Virgin, Koodo Mobile, Eastlink, SaskTel and MTS plan to start sales on March 31st.  All the carriers will release the 16GB and 64GB models and no-term pricing will range from the 16GB version at $579 and$729.99, respectively.

Finally, big box retailer Best Buy has posted on its site that it will have the iPhone SE for sale. Unfortunately, the pricing or carrier partners isn’t available yet.
