Earlier today, several explosions rocked Brussels and many lives were lost and more injured.
Telus and sub-brand Koodo Mobile have extended its hands by waiving all calls and texts in the area. On Twitter, Telus noted, “Please connect with your loved ones in #Brussels. All calls and texts to and from the area are free until Apr. 5.”
We have reached out to other Canadian carriers to see if they will be offering free calls and texts, or assisting in others ways. We will update this post when we learn more.
Update: Wind Mobile has also joined in the goodwill and stated that all calls and texts to Belgium will be free for all prepaid and postpaid customers from March 22nd-28th.
