If the $1,149 price tag of the HTC Vive left you (understandably) trigger shy, the good news is that you’ll soon be able to see what all the fuss is about when HTC brings demo units to retail locations across Canada.
On Friday, the Taiwanese company announced a new retail partnership with Microsoft. The deal will see 30 Microsoft Store locations across both the U.S. and Canada create a demo area where consumers can try the virtual reality headset. There’s no list yet of the specific Canadian Microsoft Store locations that will take part in the promotion, but we’ll publish an update once we know more.
HTC also announced it will start selling the Vive at retail stores this summer.
In the meantime, the Vive can be purchased from through the company’s official web store.
