It looks like Google’s popular Calendar application wants to help people achieve their goals.
A new goal feature added to the service today is designed to help people find time for activities that typically get ignored. For example, if you want to be more active, the feature allows you to set a new “Goal” that will remind you to exercise, as well as the best time to do it.
Calendar will automatically look at your jam-packed schedule and find downtime to squeeze goals into. If work or life ends up getting in the way, causing you to miss your all-important goal, the task can be deferred to a later date, and the app will even find another time slot to slide it in to.
The new feature is currently being pushed out to both iOS and Android users globally.
