Update – April 28th (9:42pm): Drake is stopping by the Beats1 Toronto station to chat up with Zane Lowe tonight after 7:45pm PT (10:45pm) for an extensive interview — most likely about VIEWS. In addition, Views will officially launch on iTunes and Apple Music at At 9pm PT (12:00am EST).
In a special edition of Beats 1, Apple DJ Zane Lowe hosted his daily internet radio show in a studio near Toronto’s Rogers Centre (née SkyDome).
The former BBC Radio 1 DJ interviewed Aluna Francis of the excellent British electronic music duo AlunaGeorge, and revealed he will interview the 6ix God, Toronto-born rapper Drake, tomorrow at 10pm. According to Apple, much of the interview will focus on the city’s OVO music festival, created and curated by Drake.
Lowe posted a picture of the appearance on his Instagram account (seen below).
