In honour of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, Uber is becoming a temporary puppy delivery service in Toronto, Edmonton and Ottawa today. The puppies—and some adult dogs—are available for office delivery between 11am and 3pm today, and users can order them by opening the Uber app and selecting the “PUPPIES” option. Once they arrive, says Uber, users and their colleagues will get to play with the puppies for 15 minutes before they have to go. If users happen to get attached to a sweet little pup, they are all up for adoption.
The price for the service is $30 and Uber states that all proceeds will go to TEAM Dog Rescue, Snookie’s Little Rescue, Dog Tales, Rescue Dog Match, Dire Woofs, Finding Them Homes and Humane Society of Durham Region.
