Adobe has introduced a new app that aims to assist organizations develop images, websites and media.
The program consists of three apps known as Slate, Post and Voice which were originally released in standalone form. Now rebranded as Page, Post and Video, these three apps together form the new and improved Adobe Spark.
“Today anyone can create content and share it via social media, but most people lack the skill, time and resources to create something that cuts through the online clutter,” said Bryan Lamkin, executive vice president and general manager, digital media at Adobe in a statement sent to MobileSyrup.
“With Adobe Spark, anyone can create authentic, professional looking visual content for their project, passion, cause or business.”
With Page, users can create what The Next Web calls “magazine-style landing pages” that are supported by Adobe. Post goes a step further by letting users use their own images to create flyers for stores or for social media. The program also knows which image sizes are ideal for Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.
Video allows equips users to create animated videos in minutes and includes a feature lets users overlay their voices on top of images. While Spark suite of tools is available today for iOS and the Web, it’s yet to be announced whether Adobe will release an Android version.
In addition to the app, Adobe has launched a Spark Blog to compliment the program with a slew of articles already published to the site. Spark seems to be directed towards those with a different skill set than Adobe’s targeted in the past. A statement recites small businesses, non-profits, students, bloggers, etc., as being the prime benefactors of the program.
Furthermore, while the apps are currently free, Adobe says that paid versions of Spark will be released in the near future.
