Previously available only to large businesses and government enterprises in Canada, Bell has opened up its IP communication platform to small businesses in Ontario and Quebec.
This program will deliver a suite of messaging and unified communications services that include a seamless transition from phone to desktop.
“The launch of Bell Total Connect for small business in Ontario and Québec demonstrates Bell’s commitment to bring the best broadband networks and services to all our customers,” said Rizwan Jamal, president of Bell residential and small business services in a statement sent to MobileSyrup.
Bell Total Connect includes several telephony features including Find Me & Follow Me, call routing management and Simultaneous ring – which enables calls to ring on up to ten numbers.
Furthermore, the platform will allow users to easily switch between devices, as Bell Total Connect allows calls to be made from whichever device is currently in use and connected to the internet. Bell claims that this service is beneficial to those working remotely who’s still like to maintain their business identity for outgoing calls.
“Small business operators can now leverage the same technology available to the largest companies in Canada to do more and make more with the power of Bell’s networks,” continued Jamal in the statement.
