Google just released the latest Android N developer preview — and while there a number of goodies within DP4, which we’ll highlight in a subsequent post — there’s one new Easter egg that we couldn’t wait to share.
First spotted by Twitter user @AtheistTacos (right proper name there, dude), the new Android N wallpaper included with the preview is a bit different from past iterations.
See for yourself.

If you followed Google’s recent I/O keynote, you’ll know the wallpaper is a reference to Dave Burke’s presentation. During the conference, the vice-president of engineering at Google, announced the company planned to crowd source the name of the latest version of its mobile operating system, and asked Android users not to name N Namey McNameface.
While Google has yet to announce the official name of Android N, Hiroshi Lockheimer, senior vice-president of Android, has been dropping some hints.
