If a new short teaser video is an accurate indication, GoPro plans to finally reveal its anticipated Karma action drone on September 19th.
Back in May of 2015, GoPro revealed plans to release what the company’s CEO Nick Woodman called at the time “the ultimate GoPro accessory,” during an interview at Recode’s Code Conference.

GoPro also released sneak peak footage of the camera-equipped quad copter back in October of last year. It’s unclear what the Karma will actually look like, though it’s likely going to adopt a form factor similar to other quad copters on the market.
The image seen below is reportedly pulled directly from GoPro’s servers, indicating that the drone will feature a built-in motorized Gimbal designed to hold the GoPro.

The company plans to release the karma alongside the Hero 5, the company’s first flagship GoPro in nearly 2 years, this coming holiday season.
