A listing for a ‘Surface Ergonomic Keyboard’ from Microsoft has cropped up at the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), discovered by WinFuture. Its naming and Bluetooth functionality suggest the device is being produced for desktop PCs.
If true, the listing would signal a change in strategy when it comes to Surface branding, as previously most Surface accessories were made for its line of 2-in-1s.
This finding adds fuel to recent rumours that Microsoft is preparing to launch at least one Surface-branded all-in-one (AIO) PC at a late October event in New York City.
A report from Windows Central previously stated the company was testing out three screen sizes for the AIOs: a Full HD 21-inch, and a 24-inch and 27-inch display with a 4K resolution.
