The OnePlus 3’s successor, the OnePlus 3T, is now available in Canada, coming in at $599 for the 64GB ROM version.
The OnePlus 3T features several small but noteworthy enhancements over the $519 OnePlus 3, including a Snapdragon 821 processor, 3,400mAh battery and 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The OnePlus 3, in comparison, stocked the Snapdragon 820, a 3,000mAh battery and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Both devices have 6GB of RAM and a 1080p Optic AMOLED display. The OnePlus 3T will also follow in its predecessor’s footsteps by shipping with Android 6.0 — though an update to Nougat should be coming within the month.
In terms of other enhancements, OnePlus has added a new ‘Gunmetal’ grey colour variant, a new scratch-resistant glass coating on the back camera and a 128GB ROM version, which is priced at $639. Both models are now available for sale through OnePlus’ Canadian site.
