Following a December in which the Xbox One outsold the PlayStation 4, Microsoft has launched a new sales promotion that sees the company’s eighth generation console — as well as select games and accessories — discounted until January 27th.
For Canadians who haven’t waded into this generation’s console race yet, Microsoft has discounted several different Xbox One and Xbox One S bundles by $50. Each console also comes with one free game, chosen from a list of seven, in addition to whatever game may already be already included inside the box.
The seven games included in the promotion are Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, The Crew, Hasbro Family Fun Pack, Watch Dogs, Just Dance 2016, Just Dance: Disney Party 2.
Canadian consumers can also get $15 CAD off a Xbox One controller, including the significantly more expensive and customizable Elite controller. In addition, Microsoft is offering free laser engraving on custom Xbox Design Lab controllers. The new ‘red’ and ‘green and orange,’ the latter of which Canadian consumers can pre-order now, are not included in this month’s sale.
Select Xbox One are also discounted by as much $35, including Gears of War 4, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Quantum Break, and Final Fantasy XV.
The deals are available both in-store and via microsoftstore.ca.
