Update: Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S8 and S8+ and we have all the details here. For those who missed the event, Samsung has uploaded the entire unveiling in 360 video.
Samsung is on the cusp of officially announcing its first flagship smartphone since the Galaxy Note 7, which was recalled and now going to be sold in some markets as a refurbished device.
Samsung will attempt to keep its stronghold on the Android community and offer loyal customers the choice of either the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+. Rumours indicate it will feature a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch 2960 x 1440 pixel display, and be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. In addition, Samsung is expected to unveil some new Gear VR updates and launch an expanded warranty program called Samsung Guard.
Samsung will livestream its “Unbox your Phone” event through YouTube, Facebook, through the official Unpacked 2017 app (Android and iOS), or directly on its dedicated Galaxy page. The event will start at 11:00am EST on March 29th.
