Samsung has announced plans to revamp its current ‘Experience Store’ in Toronto with something “unlike anything we’ve ever launched before in Canada.”
Claiming to be the “largest and most immersive” retail experience, Samsung will open a two-level, 21,000 sq. ft. Yonge-Dundas Square location at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre this summer. Access to the store is available from inside and outside the mall and will feature various in-store demos and hands-ons.
Samsung states those who come into the Experience Store will have access to a fully functioning Samsung demo kitchen, which is apparently a first in Canada. In addition, from a mobility perspective, the store will feature its latest smartphones and tablets, plus the option to book Apple-like 1:1 training sessions.
Probably what’s most unique is the interactive Samsung Gear VR and Gear 360 zones that will “transport visitors across Canada, over rollercoasters and beyond.”
“Our new Samsung Experience Store at CF Toronto Eaton Centre is, simply, unlike anything we’ve ever launched before in Canada. From the moment our guests join us, they will experience the Samsung Galaxy Life connected ecosystem. The dynamic and innovative space will bring our guests closer to the Samsung brand and our latest innovation, enabling them to get closer to what they are passionate about and reach their full potential” said Patricia Heath the vice president of retail excellence at Samsung Canada in a recent statement sent to MobileSyrup.
The other Samsung Experience Store in Canada are located at in Ontario at CF Sherway Gardens (current location), Yorkdale Shopping Centre, in British Columbia at Metrotown Mall in Burnaby and CF Richmond Centre in Richmond, and in the West Edmonton Mall.
Samsung recently announced the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
