On May 30th, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) will release its latest lottery innovation, or as the Canadian Crown corporation states its way to “modernize” Lottery and Gaming in the province, with the official OLG Lottery app.
The app is pretty basic and allows users to instantly check lottery tickets versus heading to your local variety store or gas station to scan. Following the guidelines of both the App Store and Google Play, the OLG Lottery app will not offer the option to purchase or redeem winning tickets from the device.
