Netflix has announced a ‘Download Zone’ tour for this summer, offering spots with Wi-Fi across Ontario cottage country for viewers to load up their devices with entertainment.
At select locations, Ontarians will be able take advantage of the Netflix Downloads feature, which allows users to download select movies and TV shows to watch later, even without an internet connection.
Employees will be on-site to help people through the process if needed.
Some of the shows offered through Netflix Downloads are Riverdale, Stranger Things, The Crown, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
The Netflix Download Zone will run on the following dates:
Victoria Day weekend
Friday, May 19th – Bass Pro Shop at Vaughan Mills (1 Bass Pro Mills Drive)
Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st – Collingwood Farmers Market (at Hurontario and Simcoe Street)
Canada Day weekend
Friday June 30th – Bass Pro Shop at Vaughan Mills
Saturday, July 1st and Sunday, July 2nd – Gravenhurst (101 Centennial Drive)
Civic Holiday weekend
Friday, August 4 – Bass Pro Shop at Vaughan Mills
Saturday, August 5th and Sunday, August 6th – Huntsville (37 Main Street East)
Labour Day weekend
Friday, September 1 – Bass Pro Shop at Vaughan Mills
