Canadian national carriers Bell and Rogers have made the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers list.
Freedom Mobile-owner Shaw Communications also made the list.
The list is compiled each year by Mediacorp Canada Inc., by studying the employment histories of 90,000 different Canadian businesses and companies.
From that list, Mediacorp sends out approximately 7,500 invitations to employers to submit applications.
That list is then narrowed down to 100, and the results are published in a variety of trade magazines and periodicals, including the Globe and Mail.
Among other recipients of the honour were Samsung Canada, Best Buy Canada, as well as video game companies Ubisoft and BioWare.
“The best employers recognize that they need to innovate thoughtfully to keep moving forward,” said Richard Yerema, the managing editor of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project, in a November 7th, 2017 media release.
