Telus has announced the launch of its new, enhanced Optik TV app, available on smartphones, tablets and web browsers.
The app allows subscribers to watch TV live and gives access to thousands of On Demand titles, as well as the ability to set and manage recordings.
The app makes it easy for its subscribers to find new shows to start bingeing. Subscribers can browse trending shows, choose from popular On Demand titles, or utilize the improved interface and search engine.
Subscribers also have access to 155 on-the-go channels through the app and are able to order a movie on their TV and continue watching on their mobile device.
“We’re constantly evolving Optik TV to provide our customers with enhanced viewing options that suit their lifestyle and put them in control of when, where and how they want to enjoy their favourite content,” said Blair Miller, vice president of Products and Content at Telus, in a press statement. “Whether streaming the game on your smartphone, finding a new binge-worthy series or setting a recording while you are out so you don’t miss your favourite show, the new Optik TV mobile app is another way we’re making it easier for our customers to enjoy Canada’s best entertainment experience.”
Optik TV is available in B.C., Alberta and Quebec, in English and French. The app is available on Android, iOS and online browsers, including Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Safari.
