Australian broadband facilitator NetComm has signed a purchase agreement with Bell Canada to deliver high-speed broadband services to various rural communities in Ontario and Quebec.

Under the agreement, NetComm will also offer the same services to communities in other provinces, once work in Ontario and Quebec has been completed.

NetComm is headquartered in Sydney, Australia and has operated for 35 years in the country, in addition to holding offices in U.S., U.K. and New Zealand.

The company is well-known for its ‘Intelligent Fixed Wireless’ services that offer a practical and economical alternative to fibre, cable and copper networks. According to Netcomm, it can deliver broadband speeds to regional, remote and outer urban areas over 4G LTE networks around the world.

Specific terms of the agreement, including unit volumes ordered by Bell, were not revealed.
