Pokémon Go is gearing up for a summer of Pokémon with the announcement of Pokémon Go Fest 2018 and Pokémon Go Safari Zone.
I won’t go into too much detail regarding Go Fest and the Safari Zone because neither of those events are coming to Canada. If you want to find out more a Pokémon Go blog post focused on the events can be found here.
What’s set to happen worldwide are upcoming Community Days. The next Community Day will be on May 19th and will feature Charmander.
Following that event there’s set to be more Community Days. The June event will take place on the 16th, followed by another event on July 8th. So far the featured Pokemon hasn’t been revealed for these two events, but knowing the dates ahead of time will help users plan out how they’re going to fit catching Pokémon into their day.
The blog post also states that “trainers across the globe will be able to engage in a variety of activities and challenges, so you’ll be able to take part no matter where you are.”
Here’s hoping that new and exciting updates will also be added to the game over the course of the summer.
