Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill now accepts voice orders through the Google Assistant app. The feature allows users to place an order for pick up or delivery.
It isn’t as easy as saying “Hey Google,” however. Users need to first say “Okay Google, talk to Swiss Chalet” which will prompt users to either pick up their last meal or set up a quick order.
The Canadian Press report indicates users can simply say “Hey Google, order from Swiss Chalet” and then pick through menu items, however, that didn’t seem to be the case for users in our office.
Swiss Chalet has been working on improving the “digital customer experience.”
Recently the brand launched an updated mobile app, integration with Waze and The Weather Network mobile app. According to a previous news release Swiss Chalet plans to integrate ordering via The Weather Network mobile app sometime this year, just in case rainy days make you hungry for a half-chicken meal.
We’ve reached out to Swiss Chalet for more details regarding the Assistant integration.
