With the LG G7 ThinQ and V35 ThinQ announced and coming soon, perennial leaker Evan Blass says Wear OS fans can expect to see the long rumoured follow-up to the LG Watch Sport and Watch Style in the near future as well.
“Q7 launched about a week ago. V35 (ThinQ) just announced today. And the watch — probably the rumoured LG Watch Timepiece hybrid — has already passed through the FCC, and should debut soon,” Blass wrote on Twitter.

The trip through the FCC Blass mentions occurred on May 7th. The U.S. Federal Communications Commission documentation did not reveal too many details about the upcoming wearable. The regulatory body classified the device, model number LM-W315, as a “portable wrist device,” and said it did not test it for cellular connectivity, suggesting the new device won’t feature LTE connectivity.
Past reports have said the new device will be called the LG Watch Timepiece. Reportedly, it’s a hybrid wearable that features Wear OS and physical hands for telling the time.
