Google Lens is software that works hand-in-hand with Google Assistant and the Google Photos app.
Users of Google Lens can look up products, identify meals and get information about certain landmarks.
The app is available natively within Photos and Assistant on devices like the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. the Huawei P20 Pro, the HTC U12+ and the LG G7 ThinQ. However, some smartphones, like the Moto G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S9, only have Google Lens within Assistant.
While it was previously only available in limited capacities, users can now download Google Lens through the Google Play Store.
Google Lens, while available on the Google Photos app for iOS, is still not available directly via the iOS App Store.
