Pixel 3 rumours are slowly starting to ramp up. The newest leak points to the Google Pixel 3 featuring a 5.3-inch display with no notch, while the Pixel 3 XL will sport a notched 6.2-inch screen. This newest rumour comes from France-based tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known by his Twitter handle, OnLeaks.
For comparison, the Google Pixel 3’s display is set to be .3-inches larger than the Pixel 2’s, while the Pixel 3 XL’s will be .2-inches larger, though the notch will make the difference more significant.
According to my sources:
Pixel 3 ≃ 5.3-inch (no notch)
Pixel 3XL ≃ 6.2-inch (notch)— Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) June 4, 2018
Hemmerstoffer doesn’t offer additional details about the upcoming handsets, but thanks to leaks by tipster Roland Quandt and Bloomberg writer Mark Gurman we know a little more about the upcoming handset. Reports indicate the Pixel 3 series will be manufactured by Foxconn, the same company that assembles Apple’s iPhone, and will feature “new display technology“.
According to prolific leaker Evan Blass, Google will launch its new handsets alongside a Pixel smartwatch this fall.
